I consider myself secular. In my country of multiple religions, I visit Temples, Gurudwaras, Churches, Mosques on a regular basis. However, this little temple caught my attention as I walked past it on a busy road.
It must the smallest temple I had seen; just a small niche in the rock and as high as my waist. God beckons anywhere!

Yes, I was quite taken in by the tinyness and the fact that someone had decided make a temple in a rock.

Oh there are sooooo many of these all over India! In the hills, however, thanks to the topography, they present a surreal, very special look! Great shot.

Yes, there are so many of them, under banyan trees and nestled among vegetation, on the roadside all over India. I found this little temple only last week, near Snowdon Hospital, in Shimla.
