The sometimes-ignominious lamp post… As the advertising guru David Ogilvy put it…”People use statistics as a drunk uses a lamp post – for support rather than illumination.”
I checked out the statistics for this lamp post illumination… it was out of order 46 times out of 100!

      3. I’m one of those too. Just because I put up the photograph early doesn’t put me in the early riders club (although that’s one less problem to handle 😀 ).

      4. Ha ha. I haven’t finished the one in English! Although I am back but still need rest to recover from the hectic vacationing 😉
        On a serious note, my proficiency in Hindi is just average (maybe, less than). I can only cheer you on.

      5. Hectic vacationing. I think we need a post on that. Would be paradoxically wonderful, wouldn’t it?
        I thought you might want to try your hands on Hindi. Not right now, but sometime in the not-too-distant future. As for me, well, let’s see what I can come up with.

      6. I think you can do that paradoxical post better for it was you who had pointed out the paradox in the first place 🙂 I would definitely want to do a post in Hindi but I guess you’ll have to guide me at every step. Let’s think it over after you are free in a few days.

        I’m ready to help whichever way I can for your post in Hindi. That’s another one for the collaborations we’ve planned. Hopefully we’ll be able to work on both of them. I’ll mail you in a week about that. 🙂
